Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

Google Analytics

Our website utilizes Google services to enhance its content and maintain its free availability. Google Analytics works by sharing information with Google.

When you visit our website or view embedded video content from YouTube, your web browser automatically sends certain information to Google. This includes the URL of the page you’re visiting and your IP address. We may use the IP address, for example, to identify your general location, to measure the effectiveness of ads, and, depending on your settings, to improve the relevance of the ads you see. We may also set cookies on your browser or read cookies that are already there. Google advertising also shares information with Google, including the name of the app and a unique identifier for advertising purposes.

Google uses the information shared by sites and apps to deliver our services, maintain and improve them, develop new services, measure the effectiveness of advertising, protect against fraud and abuse, and personalize content and ads you see on Google and on its partners’ sites and apps. Refer to Google’s Privacy Policy to learn more about how they process data for each of these purposes, and visit their Advertising page for more information about Google Ads, including how your information is used in the context of advertising and how long Google stores this information.

Google’s Privacy Policy explains the legal grounds on which Google relies to process your information — for example, we may process your information with your consent or to pursue legitimate interests, such as providing, maintaining, and improving our services to meet the needs of our users.

Sometimes, when Google processes information shared from our site, the sites and apps that share this information may request your consent before allowing Google to process it. For example, a banner may appear on a site asking for permission for Google to process the information our website collects. When that happens, we will respect the purposes described in the consent you give to the site or app, rather than the legal grounds described in the Google Privacy Policy. If you want to change or withdraw your consent, you should visit the site or app in question to do so.

Payments via Square

We understand that you expect us to take care of your personal information. Square has designed their Services with those expectations in mind. Square has created a Privacy Notice that describes how Square processes personal information when they process payments or provide other services on your behalf.

Email List via MailerLite

Mailerlite, the company that holds our email list, provides its Privacy Policy on their site. Your email and name can be permanently deleted at your request to kerri@brimmingdesign.com.
