5-Minute Marketing: Task #4

Are you sending out promotional emails? Take a look at what is getting the most views. If you are not, consider what you could include in a weekly or monthly email that would keep you in mind with your customers.

Your email headline/title can help you to get more views. Take a look at your email reports and see which headlines are getting the most open rates. Often you can increase open rates with eye-catching questions or lead-ins to the topic of your email. Content that is useful and relevant to the reader is more likely to get read. Even if most of the emails are not opened, they may be noticed in the mailbox list, reminding your customer of you.

Grow your list by offering interesting content, tips, and email special offers to encourage new customers to sign up. You can even set up automated emails with many email services that start a planned flow of emails beginning with a welcome letter to new customers.

If you’re just getting started with email marketing, you will find there are a number of mail services with wonderful features. Some are tied to CRMs that you may already be using. MailChimp and Constant Contact are paid, reliable services that have existed for a long time. If you are looking for a free/inexpensive solution (depending on audience size) check out MailerLite.com
